All courses are standard offered in English. However, upon request, we can train in Arabic, French, and Spanish.

Can I download a course or work offline?

Course content is not available to download.

Do you offer a full online HEAT course?

No. We do not offer a full online HEAT course. We believe the practical part is the essential part of the Hostile Environmental Awareness Training.  This is where our participants have the opportunity to practice the skills we teach them in the classroom. It is necessary to practice these skills as, for many of us, they are not our natural responses to challenging situations. Therefore, an online HEAT is insufficient. We want our participants to feel confident and prepared as they set out on their mission.

Will I get a certificate?

You will receive a certificate for every course that you complete.

Can I give you feedback?

Yes! We welcome your feedback. At the end of each course, you will be asked to complete an end-of-the-course survey where you can share your feedback on the course content. If you have additional feedback or questions that are unanswered in this FAQs section, or that can’t wait till the end of your course, please Contact Us

Who are the courses for?

Anyone who will be deployed, travels to or is based in an area that is considered hostile. An indicator can be the security level given to a region or country by your ministry of foreign affairs.  All our courses are designed to help humanitarian staff stay safe during their work.
